Cultura organizacional en las universidades:
Una revisión integradora

Las universidades pueden entenderse como organizaciones que tienen estructuras administrativas, objetivos que cumplir y recursos que gestionar. El concepto de cultura organizacional está presente en la gran mayoría de las organizaciones, sin embargo, aún no es estudiado de manera destacada desde la perspectiva de las universidades. Observando este vacío investigativo, este artículo tuvo como objetivo general comprender cómo la literatura científica ha destacado el desarrollo de la cultura organizacional de las instituciones de educación superior. Para ello se adoptó una revisión integradora a través de la plataforma Web of Science. Los resultados identificaron que el instrumento de evaluación de la cultura organizacional (OCAI) es el método más utilizado para investigar la cultura organizacional en las universidades. Los aspectos individuales de cada institución apoyarán el desarrollo del tipo de cultura que se destaca, permitiendo identificar las características de cada cultura, entendiendo la relación que los empleados tienen con la cultura y cómo afecta la vida diaria de la universidad y el desempeño. de los docentes insertados en este contexto. Además, la cultura organizacional también influye en los valores de la organización y sus empleados, las reglas y normas establecidas por sus líderes y las tradiciones que fueron creadas y seguidas por sus empleados a lo largo del tiempo.
