The present work presents a Systematic Literature Review (RSL) whose main objective was to investigate how prescriptions in Brazilian editorials contribute to the socio-educational process of the female body, in order to understand mainly how such prescriptions influence in a pedagogical way the composition of the performance ideal aimed at Brazilian women. The survey took place in the online databases Scielo and Capes Periódicos using the descriptors: "Editorial", "Newspaper", "Magazine", "Periódico", "Brazil", "Female Body" and "Woman", using the AND operator . Through the combination of these terminologies, 30 works were found, resulting in 4 being selected. When using RSL's methodological procedures in conjunction with the theoretical support provided in works organized by Guacira Lopes Louro, the results indicate that there is a strong indication of pedagogical construction in the prescriptions contained in editorials, newspapers, magazines and periodicals, as well as advertisements referring to the female body, resulting in an induction of social performance for the female public through content consumed in print, digital and/or media and also a massive presence of communications that use mixed language (verbal and non-verbal) as a socio- educational aimed at women at different levels and different social groups such as sex, gender, race, class and sexuality.
