Education for Ethnic-Racial Relations: obstacles, perspectives and the inclusion of this discussion in a meritocratic society.

This article was produced during the activities of the Professional Master's Degree in Education - PPGEdu, Jaguarão/RS campus, with the objective of reflecting on Ethnic-racial Relations, as well as bringing a discussion on the obstacles, perspectives and inclusion in a meritocratic society. As a methodology, a bibliographical research on the themes: Ethnic-racial relations and inclusion was used, as well as the discussions listed in the classroom, the results were not evidenced, as it is an ongoing master's research. The article also raises the difficulties of implementing Law 10639/03 and the obstacles that this implementation brings to the work of the theme in the school, in addition to putting forward how to effectively bring these themes into a society that is permeated by the ideology of meritocracy.
