This theoretical reflective article aims to analyze the theme of the Ontopsychological leader formation through the acquisition of functional habits that lead to achievement and, in turn, strengthen their core business, thus also promoting the best way to serve others. For their formation, it is necessary to take into consideration the constant cultivation of their own intelligence, as it is the energy that underlies all energies, and the leader is the highest expression of this energy (MENEGHETTI, 2013a and 2013b). The formation of the leader occurs through knowledge of their conscious and unconscious psychic activity, through Ontopsychological authentication psychotherapy and other methodological instruments of this science, whose process derives from constant metanoia or radical change of mental models so that the historical logical self is able to make existential choices according to the impulses of the Ontic Self. Through their formation, the leader initiates a change in their habits (metanoia), building counter-habits that are congruent with their Ontic Self nature project. The leader, therefore, must operate constant metanoia, that is, the continuous and radical change of their mental models, which must be updated moment by moment with their nature project. In this way, the leader gradually transcends historical-cultural stereotypes, acquiring the habit of establishing a dyad with being, perfecting themselves and existentially embodying the primary intentionality of life that placed and sustains them contemporaneously.
