This work aims to reflect on the knowledge of the subjects belonging to a specific locus, Latin America, more specifically Bolivia. The narratives told from / at the border seek to rescue what was repressed by the colonizer 's discourse. If we were thrown to the margins, whose local history is unique, rescuing these knowledges, that is, border epistemologies, they become an act of epistemic disobedience necessary to detach ourselves from the standards imposed by hegemonic power. Local experiences / memories / resistances are sewn within the lines of this work, such as the testimony / life of Domitila Barrios de Chungara, a Bolivian woman, from mine and a female leader. To instigate this proposed discussion, we used studies by theorists such as Walter Mignolo (2014), Edward W. Said (2003, 2005), Zulma Palermo (2008, 2010,2015), among others.
