Educação física escolar e mídia: relato de experiência

Este resumo se trata de um relato de experiência que teve como objetivo problematizar as representações midiáticas sobre saúde e esporte com estudantes do 7º ano do ensino fundamental da Escola Municipal de Ensino Fundamental Visconde de Mauá/Arroio Grande. A proposta de mediação da cultura midiática baseou-se nos seguintes autores: Jesús Martín-Barbero (1997), Pier Cesar Rivoltella (2012), Maria Luiza Belloni (2005) e Monica Fantin (2006). Ao total, foram realizados sete encontros com os estudantes onde foram discutidos os temas saúde e esportes a partir da sua midiatização, tendo como resultado a produção de um jornal escolar. A partir do processo de construção do jornal, é possível perceber o envolvimento dos estudantes nas atividades propostas na condição de autores e, principalmente que eles demonstraram atitudes mais críticas de apropriação dos conteúdos apresentados na mídia relacionados aos temas saúde e esporte.
