the female body as a field of dispute

In view of the constant threats to women's rights in Brazil and the neoconservative wave that threatens international politics, this paper aims, through a bibliographical review, to analyze the genealogical paths of the process of feminine domination. To this end, we take as a starting point the works of Foucault, Preciado, Wittig and Federici, which allow a deep understanding of the devices of sexuality and gender that impact the female experience through aggressive attacks against the body. We point out, based on this theoretical foundation, that the female body suffers constant attempts to control it with the purpose of structuring and maintaining capitalism, with tools that seek to manage its potentials in order to perpetuate an oppressive social configuration. We consider that, in view of this scenario engineered since the witch hunts, it is necessary to instigate a movement to liberate women from the cage of capital, emancipating the feminine from these confining devices.
