This investigation presents the EPT-HEMEPT History and Memory Digital Repository project, which aims to generate knowledge through the use of technology to preserve institutional memory. It is understood that the conscious appropriation of the history of an institution makes it possible to signify and re-signify its identity and social function, therefore, the aim is to make part of the history of IFSUL/Câmpus Pelotas digitally available through the EPT History and Memory Digital Repository - HeMEPT. The proposal is relevant due to the possibility of preserving institutional documents and democratizing access to school memory, considering the availability of the material in a publicly accessible digital collection. The methodological proposal is allocated from a qualitative perspective, with a historical approach, technique affiliated with preservation and documentary analysis. At the end of the work, the aim is to contribute to the preservation of the History and Memory of EPT.
