This article aims to examine the socioterritorial struggles in Bico do Papagaio, focusing on rural women, particularly the quebradeiras de coco babaçu. The analysis considers the concepts of territory and territoriality, exploring how women shape and transform rural spaces through their productive and cultural practices. We discuss the complexities and contradictions in these women's struggles and the challenges faced in constructing territorial identities. The study also includes accounts from an interview and narratives from one of the female leaders in the history of Bico do Papagaio, emphasizing the importance of memory in crystallizing the identity and history of women's struggles in the region.
