This text discusses the use of medications in the routine of work of the teachers and auxiliaries who work in the Municipal Schools of Early Childhood Education of 16 cities of Rio Grande do Sul. This usage is related to the high requirements and numberless demands that are imposed on these professionals that end up resorting to the use of drugs in the search for a rebalancing and a readaptation to stay in a welfare level in their profession. The data were obtained through the application of two instruments: the Questionnaire about Work's Content and Complementary Questionnaire.
