The "May 13th" Podcast and extension as a formative process

This present report has as main scope to present the extension activities, especially in the area of podcasts, of the Extension Program "Pensar Jovem: Fazer Sentido", which was implemented in the Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica de Minas Gerais, approved since the first half of 2020 by Diretoria de Extensão e Desenvolvimento Comunitário (DEDC). The project was elaborated with the main goal of developing actions aiming contributions in the academic, scientific and citizenship formation of students from the public school system of Minas Gerais through the establishment of spaces for dialogue, interaction and reflection between the internal and external academic community. In this sense, one of the extension actions is the dissemination and socialization of knowledge of/by young people through the podcast media - a cultural product of mass reach. Therefore, we hope to contribute reporting the experience of building the 13 de maio episode of the program, as well as presenting reflections on the extension program as a formative path.
