O uso do WhatsApp no contexto educacional em tempos de Cibercultura

O referido artigo busca relatar as diversas formas de interação e como se dá o uso dos grupos do aplicativo disponível para celular WhatsApp em duas escolas urbanas dos municípios de Herval e Santa Vitória do Palmar, no estado do Rio Grande do Sul. Busca-se compreender se o aplicativo de Whatsapp pode ser inserido como uma ferramenta pedagógica entre os estudantes nos referidos municípios pela facilidade de acesso e por ser extremamente popular atualmente. A metodologia utilizada na pesquisa foi exploratória e como instrumento de coleta de dados optamos pelo questionário, que vai ao encontro dos conceitos referenciados pelos teóricos como Pretto, Castells e Santos, que propõem uma prática tecnológica no processo de ensino e aprendizagem, constituindo um novo perfil entre o professor e o estudante.
