une analyse intertextuelle de la musique et de la littérature japonaises à travers Kokoro de Natsume Sōseki et "Hitchcock" de Yorushika

Résumé

Cet article explore les intersections entre le roman Kokoro de Natsume Sōseki et la chanson "Hitchcock" de Yorushika, en analysant leur engagement intertextuel avec les thèmes de l'isolement, de l'identité et des tensions sociétales à travers l'histoire japonaise. Kokoro (1914), situé pendant l'ère Meiji, examine l'aliénation et la crise identitaire résultant de la modernisation du Japon et de la collision entre les valeurs occidentales et traditionnelles. "Hitchcock" de Yorushika transpose les thèmes de Sōseki dans un cadre contemporain, où la désillusion de la jeunesse moderne reflète la lutte continue du Japon avec l'authenticité et l'expression de soi dans un monde globalisé. À travers une lecture approfondie des paroles et de la prose, cet article mobilise la théorie de l’intertextualité de Linda Hutcheon pour révéler comment la musique de Yorushika traduit les idées de Kokoro en une expérience auditive, reliant les expressions historiques et modernes de l'identité japonaise. En revisitant la narration de Sōseki dans un nouveau médium, Yorushika revitalise son exploration des conflits personnels et sociétaux, les rendant accessibles à une nouvelle génération et soulignant le pouvoir de l’adaptation dans la littérature et la musique japonaises.
