Abstract

A Educação Ambiental surge como resposta organizada a uma crise sistêmica do capital, considerada aqui como crise estrutural do capital, formada por três dimensões interdependentes, a dizer a crise política, econômica e ecológica. Em sua vertente crítica, a Educação Ambiental vislumbra superar a raiz da questão ecológica global atual, ou o próprio sistema capitalista. Nesse sentido, este artigo propõe uma reflexão pontual voltada a identificar as contribuições da união das lutas ecológicas e anticapitalistas organizadas no Ecossocialismo para a formação de um horizonte político para a Educação Ambiental.
