anti-disability analysis of actions developed in Jaguarão/RS

The present work aims to carry out an anti-disability analysis of the Municipal Weeks for People with Disabilities in the city of Jaguarão/RS. To this end, the following question arises: how do the actions developed during the Municipal Week for Persons with Disabilities contribute to the fight against ableism? The investigation was carried out using a qualitative, case study approach and used documentary research and interview techniques as data collection instruments. The data were interpreted using qualitative textual analysis procedures and revealed that although the term ableism is not used, the actions are carried out in order to contribute to the fight against ableism. It is of great importance that the discussion on ableism is integrated into future editions of this event.
