Abstract

This work has as its main theme the relations between law and religion, delimiting itself to study them in times of fundamentalism in Brazilian society. The central question of the research can be defined as: what are the relations between law and religion in times of fundamentalism in contemporary Brazilian society? The main objective of the research is to analyze and interpret the relationship between law and religion in the fundamentalist context of contemporary Brazilian society. The thesis reached is that the relations between law and religion in fundamentalist times, in Brazil, mark a hegemonic legislative production and threaten the secular character of the State. The research has deduction as a method of reasoning, with an analytical-interpretative approach and bibliographic procedure.
