MULHERES E RAÇA: UMA REFLEXÃO SOBRE POLÍTICAS PÚBLICAS E AÇÕES AFIRMATIVAS NO BRASIL

Durante o período colonial mulheres e homens negros foram tratados como propriedade privada pelo sistema escravista, o que produziu algumas características comportamentais que ainda refletem na atualidade, fazendo com que a população negra seja socialmente marginalizada. As mulheres negras, por sua vez, sofrem uma dupla marginalização, o que as deixa socialmente mais vulneráveis. O presente trabalho, construído a partir da coleta de dados bibliográficos e documentais tem como objetivo refletir acerca de políticas públicas e ações afirmativas que envolvem gênero e raça no Brasil, uma vez que diversas pessoas que se enquadram nesta intersecção têm suas vidas marcadas por programas sociais, os quais precisam ser elaborados partindo de abordagens sensíveis, ou seja, que partem das demandas levantadas pelos grupos.
